How to Obtain Warranty Service
To submit a claim, a copy of this warranty and a copy of your sales contract must be submitted in writing by registered mail to Impact Exteriors with a brief explanation of the claim.
Submit Your Claim Promptly
Claims must be submitted promptly after discovery of the claimed defect and within the applicable warranty period.
Schedule an Inspection
Within a reasonable period after receiving your claim, we will schedule an appointment to inspect the premises and the warranty claim.
Resolution
If we determine that a valid claim exists, we will repair, re-install, replace, or refund the purchase price of the failing service, at our option.
Note: If we decide to replace any product(s), and if such product(s) as originally installed is no longer available, we shall have the right to substitute product(s) designated by us to be of equal quality. Replacement of a product or component does not renew the warranty period.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty is granted to the original Owner only and only materials purchased from and installed by Impact Exteriors are covered. The following are not covered:
- Acts of God, settlement of the building, or failure of the structure (including foundations and walls)
- Use of incompatible accessories
- Removal, repair, or re-installation of any products by other than Impact Exteriors
- Normal corrosive effects of salt air and chemical pollutants
- Intentional acts, unreasonable use, or failure to provide reasonable maintenance
- Damages related to mold, asbestos, lead-based products, or other hazardous substances
Transfer of This Warranty
Subject to the terms and conditions contained in this warranty, this warranty is transferable one time to a future homeowner for a fee of $100.
To transfer this warranty, the Owner must request an inspection and re-certification of the products installed by Impact Exteriors. Upon inspection and re-certification to our satisfaction, or upon our waiver of the inspection and re-certification, this warranty shall transfer to the subsequent homeowner.
All terms of this warranty shall apply to the subsequent homeowner. No further transfers of this warranty are permitted.
